Printing firm Bemrose Booth, today announced that it has entered administration. The news comes after the company lost a £25m ticket contract with National Rail in February.
Bemrose Booth blames its situation on increasing competition from developing nations, which are offering cheaper production costs.
The specialist company has been a key supplier of car parking tickets, rail and event tickets, as well as business stationary such as printed envelopes.
The company's closure will result in over 300 people across the UK, losing their jobs.

Welcome to the world of AzimuthPrint!
Hello and welcome to the AzimuthPrint Blog!We decided to start this blog for a number of reasons. Firstly, here at AzimuthPrint, we are proud of what we do, so we'll be featuring regular exhibitions of our work as a running feature.
Secondly, we have long been enthused by technology and the benefits it can bring to both the consumer and environment, so this blog will cover technological advances taking place both in-house at AzimuthPrint, and in the wider print community.
We also feel that it's important to share some of the experience we've gained over twenty one years in the print and design industry. Last but not least, alongside our opinions on printing and design developments, we'll also be hosting a variety of great offers and deals!
